Shotblasting provides a safe, dustless means for preparing concrete surfaces.
The surface of the old concrete is removed by
small steel pellets (shot) that are propelled at high speeds in an enclosed "blasthead". An
attached vacuum, or filtration system, collects the laitence/dust created by this
operation in a disposal container. The steel "shot" continues through the
blasthead and are recycled for future use.
