History
Incorporated in 1972, Groundstar Systems Ltd. was a pioneer in the field of
concrete restoration and repair in Manitoba. It was the first
local contractor to employ epoxy injection techniques for repairing cracked
concrete. Following the
retirement of company founder Matt Gunnlaugson in 1987, a share restructuring
took place that led to the name change to Groundstar Systems (1987) Ltd.
Over the years, the firm has evolved from a “family owned” business into an
organization committed to its varied customer base. Today Groundstar
continues to expand and pursue new services for the highly specialized
restoration industry and related markets.
